Spirit and Life Seminary: What’s Next

We are excited to share some wonderful news as we continue our accreditation celebration: Spirit and Life Seminary has been awarded a subgrant of $21,000.00 from the AETH-Garrett Advisory Team as part of the Capacity Building for Bible Institutes project. This generous funding marks a significant milestone in our commitment to academic excellence and institutional growth.

The Capacity Building for Bible Institutes initiative is designed to strengthen the infrastructure of Bible institutes across the United States. It aims to equip institutions to meet national certification standards while bolstering their administrative and managerial effectiveness. Over the next five years, this initiative will provide a robust framework of support, development, and transformation for participating institutions.

As part of this grant, Spirit and Life Seminary will receive comprehensive training in key areas such as leadership and management, organizational development, administration, library research, and the certification process. In collaboration with Candler School of Theology’s La Mesa Academy and Foundry programs, SLS faculty and leadership will participate in specialized online training, culminating in a Certificate in Church and Bible Institute Leadership. This certification will position our seminary to qualify for further capacity-building grants and empower us to confidently continue our efforts toward greater institutional accessibility and effectiveness.

We view this grant not merely as financial support but as a profound affirmation of our mission, our people, and our future. Our deepest gratitude goes to the AETH-Garrett Advisory Team for this opportunity. We also extend heartfelt thanks to our dedicated staff and faculty for their tireless service and unwavering belief in the vision of Spirit and Life Seminary.

To God be all the glory for the blessings He has bestowed upon our institution. We remain steadfast in our mission to educate, equip, and empower future leaders to transform our world by reconciling the lost to Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.
